After a half-day session on creative thinking, participants practice applying the methods in three important areas of project management:
SUMMARY Successful project management requires creativity. For example, you must anticipate new risks. You must devise ways to turn win-lose constrains into win-win outcomes. You must imagine and communicate project benefits in a way that makes your project compelling. You must break through false restrictions in order to negotiate more successfully. You must brainstorm a list of benefits before you can conduct benefit-cost analysis. You must visualize various scenarios in order to develop realistic estimates and plans. During this workshop, you will apply four creative thinking techniques in a variety of project management situations that call for anticipation, innovation or motivation.
